John has worked as a DJ for many years on and off, he first started with a mobile, after which he toured Europe playing music in Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Spain, he loves his music and like all the DJs at Retro, lives for his sounds, and is at his best when he is pleasing the crowd and has a full dance floor. Non Retro Disco Show If you are looking for a non retro disco, DJ Artwell ( Mad About Music Services ) can offer you all the latest Club Mixers, House, Techno, Dance etc, Artwell is currently working the local Venues in and around Oxford, and is a very well known DJ in the Club and Bar Scene,he is also great with childrens partys etc. If you are intersted in booking Artwell please call us and ask about the non retro disco show. Again this show comes with the full disco rig, includding light scaffolding, martin projectors etc, and a high quality sound system

Sound and Lighting we believe a mobile disco needs to have great sound and colour, to be able to create the right party atmosphere. The road-show can be set up to suit any venue large or small, our mobile discos have great sound quality and we use a mixture of effect lights, including Martin Scanners and Martin Robo Zap effects screens and stands to project a party atmosphere of sound and lighting, are lighting engineer Jeff, only works with the lighting and always creates a great light show, we use Citronic Mixers top off the range Kam Amplifiers and a range off quality 400 Watt Kam Vortex 15inch speaker cabinets plus 300 watt cabs for spread. We ensure that all the sound and lighting equipment used by all our mobile discos is of the highest standard and well maintained. The amount of equipment used at your function will be determined by the package you choose and the space available for the DJ.

Music we have a vast amount of music and, as DJ’s, we have years of experience at filling dance floors for all age groups, occasions and tastes.
